Cremation
Introductory Information
Cremation is a process in which human remains are subjected
To intense heat and flame, in the range of 1600 to 2000 degrees
Fahrenheit.
At he conclusion of the process the body is reduced to bone
fragments, weighing on average of 6 to 8 pounds. The volume
on average is 200 cubic inches.
Cremation does not replace the funeral or memorial services. It
is an alternative method of preparation for memorialization.
Cremation allows more options than traditional casket burial and
thus is more detailed and requires many more decisions.
