Obituary for Betty Jane Voss Kellis

Jane Kellis passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Carmel Hills Retirement Community in Charlotte, NC.

Born in Jackson, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William F. Voss and Hazel Sager Voss. Jane was most proud of the work that she did at Fort Bragg in G2. She retired from Social Security Administration after many years of service.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kellis was preceded in death by her by her husband Robert Blaine Kellis, Sr. (Bob) and her sister, Sarah Voss Pulliam. Surviving are her son Blaine Kellis, wife Missy, her daughter Candy Austin, husband Dale, 2 grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Austin, wife Briana and great grandson Philip.

A visitation service will be held at JB Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 N Sharon Amity Rd, Charlotte, NC, on February 17, 2018 at 1 PM. The service will begin at 2 pm at JB Tallent with the Reverend Ric Blazi officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Sharon Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Kellis may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 1420 E 7th St, Charlotte, NC 28204
