Mrs. Caracofe, 63 of Charlotte, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at her home.
She was born July 24, 1946 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Estal and Dorothy Abot Dillon.
She is survived by her husband, Ellis Caracofe, son, Jason Caracofe and his wife Michelle; daughter, Cathy Heeter and her husband, Marco; two granddaughers, Skylar Heeter and Madision Heeter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at St. Ann Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Oaklawn Cemetery, Charlotte, NC.
Contributions may be given in her memory to Catholic Social Services, 1123 Church Street, Charlotte, NC 28203.
