Jean Britt Fulton left her living loved ones on March 13, 2010 to join her parents, David Farrington and Blanch Naomi Britt and her sister, Naomi (Billie) Trombly in heaven.
Jean was born in Mamaroneck, N.Y. She attended Bellows High School and received her RN from the New York Hospital School of Nursing. Jean leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years, Douglas; her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Gene Bodycott; grandsons, Britt and his wife, Angie, of Pineville, Dwight, of New York City, and Hunter, of San Diego, CA.
Jean will be missed by her friends at Pleasant View Lodge in the Catskills where she loved to dance and play golf. She also enjoyed spending time with the folks at Charlotte Rehab pool, friends at Larkhaven, and neighbors who would stop by to visit. Jean loved her family, time spent with Doug, and new adventures.
Her family wishes to thank her doctors and Hospice of Charlotte for their compassionate care.
A service celebrating Jean’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at J.B. Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
