George Edward Hagan, 87 of Charleston, SC died Friday, April 23, 2010 at the home of his daughter in Charlotte, NC. He was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas on February 28, 1923, son to Lee O. and Susie Virginia Huffstickler Hagan. A long time resident of Charleston, Mr. Hagan was retired from the United States Navy.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Helen Louise Regan Hagan, son, George Edward Hagan, Jr., daughter, Deborah Lee Brigulio and husband, Brian; grandson, Brian Mitchell Brigulio and wife Katherine Darby Brigulio and sister, Mildred Montgomery.
Service and burial will be held in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region, 1420 East Seventh Street, Charlotte, NC, 28204.
