Stan Rich, 57, of Charlotte, N.C. went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, March 8, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Charlotte, NC, Stan graduated from South Mecklenburg High Schoolin 1970, where he excelled in athletics. Stan owned and operated a landscaping and handyman business until he became ill. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Rich and father, Melvin Rich.
Stan is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Edward Rich and wife, Crystal; daughter, Amy Price and husband, Lane; along with five grandchildren that were the joy of his life. Stan will best be remembered for his giving heart.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Stan’s life at J.B. Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte at 12:30 PM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 with Pastor Bobby Helms, officiating. Visitation will be 11:00AM-12:15PM prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
