Mrs. Steele 75 of Charlotte went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at her home.
Those welcoming her at the homecoming were her mother, Alma M. Hollibaugh and her husband, Lloyd M. Steele.
Mrs. Steele was born November 19, 1933 in Orbisonia, PA. She retired from Wrenn Handling after a number of years of service. Mrs. Steele was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her father, Arthur B. Hollibaugh of Rockhill Furnace, PA; son, John Eaton and wife Debbie of Katy, TX; daughter, Patty E. Dellinger and husband, Danny of Waxhaw, NC; son, Blair Eaton of the home, daughter Julie E. Bonham and husband, Jeff of Fort Mill, SC; daughter, Wendy S. Law and husband, John of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren, Johnny and Chelsea Eaton, Christy D. Sutton and husband Casey and Jeremy Dellinger, Jessica and Jennifer Bonham, Debbie Willson and husband, Brad and J. T. Law and Jason Abernethy; three great-grandchildren, Trystan and Halle Sutton, Layla Willson; sister, Patricia Jackson, husband Dave and sister, Louise Rooks.
The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 6, 2009 in the chapel of J. B. Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at J. B. Tallent on Sunday, July 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
