Obituary for James Alan Conner

James Alan Conner (Alan, Coot) 55, of Surfside Beach, SC passed away unexpectedly December 15, 2017. Alan was born in Charlotte, NC and grew up in Indian Trail, NC. He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Ruth Conner.
Survivors include two sisters Brenda Gold (Allen) of Kings Mtn., NC, Pam Kirby (Randy) of Concord, NC, one brother, Tony Conner of Monroe, NC, one niece Leah Jones (Allen) of York, SC, four nephews, Kent Orr of Indian Trail, NC, Joshua Orr of Concord, NC, Jason Norket of Kings Mtn., NC, Charles Conner (Megan) of Marshall, NC, two great nephews, three great nieces, and two special friends Ed Case and Jimmy Tate.
Services to celebrate Alan's life will be held at 4 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2017 with a visitation one hour prior at JB Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 N Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte, NC, 28205.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Concord, NC.
